H-E-B and Wind Energy Corporation Launch
6/16/2009Weslaco, Texas -H-E-B announced today that it has partnered with Wind Energy Corporation (Wind Energy) in an exciting new research and development project to study the commercial application of Wind Energy's vertical axis wind turbine. The study will take place at H-E-B's Weslaco Retail Support Center, in Weslaco, Texas.

Wind Energy Corporation Responds to New Government Report
6/16/2009Elizabethtown, KY -Responding to Monday's release of a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) report entitled "20 Percent Wind Energy by 2030," Wind Energy Corporation CEO James R. Fugitte called on the federal government to reexamine the proposed solutions to ensure that renewable energy is at the center of our nation's energy policy.

U.S. Army IMCOM Southeast, Rayan Solutions and Wind Energy
6/16/2009Fort Knox, Kentucky -U.S. Army IMCOM (Installation Management Command) Southeast Region announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Rayan Solutions of Clarksville, TN and Wind Energy Corporation, based in Elizabethtown, KY to measure the effective power output of a vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT), validate the projected low impact of the design with respect to bird and bat safety, and develop and communicate results of the business case and cose for use at other Department of Defense installations.
